The richness of its heritage and its city centre, its architectural beauties, its gastronomy and its shopping boutiques are all there to make a short stay a pleasure.

Throughout the year, the Office of Tourism of Troyes in Champagne proposes visits of discovery of the historic heart of the city accompanied by its guides. There are various themes and a very rich programme with visits – sometimes many – every day in summer and on predetermined dates on Saturdays outside the season.



There are also self-guided visits with audio-guides, and the “parcours des chats” (“trail of the cats”). There is a completely new equipment system fitted with location by GPS , leading you to discover part of the city through the commentaries that will stir your imagination while allowing you to learn some of its history and that of the streets and monuments. You can also stroll around by following a completely new, 3D plan, “the trail of the cats”. In summer you have another possibility : trips in a horse-drawn carriage.

There are two other interesting formulas

The “Pass’Troyes", a passport that opens the doors of the city to you for an exceptional, all-in-price, in the form of a “chequebook” of vouchers valid for a whole year, with museum entrances, Champagne tastings, rides in a horse-drawn carriage, guided tours, paid parking, shopping etc...

A kid’jouer. a special product for children of 8 to 12 years at minimal cost. A fun idea to discover the city while playing and learning alone or in a group. 33 unusual and interesting questions make this a trail of discovery in Troyes, thanks to a pocket book illustrated with photos and original cartoons etc. – and there is a reward gift at the end of the trail (Adults accepted!).
